My partner and I stayed for two nights in a Twin Room while visiting nearby attractions. The hotel had a great location that was within a comfortable walking distance from the high street. We appreciated the welcome from the staff and the cleanliness of our room, which also offered wonderful views of the stabled horses. The breakfast was a highlight, offering a full selection that catered to all tastes, making our stay quite enjoyable.

Great staff and food!
Had a fab time here! The staff were super attentive and friendly, really made the stay much nicer. The breakfast? Absolutely delish. Only prob was the shower in our room was kinda weak, which was a letdown. Still, we enjoyed chillin' by the pool and would recommend it for a weekend getaway.

this hotel is really nice, the building looks fab and its easy to park which is a plus. the staff at the restaurant were super friendly, especially our waitress shelley. the food was tasty in the squires restaurant and they handled my dietary restrictions with no issues. my room was clean and had everything i needed, it was cozy too!
however, the greeting when we arrived was a bit off, and we didn't get the best first impression. also, there was a delay in getting our room ready which was kinda annoying.

Just a solid selection for a brief stop-in in Newmarket (Suffolk) with outstanding value. The fresh milk provided for tea/coffee was a thoughtful touch. Be sure to check the heating settings in your room on arrival.

Had a great time with friends. We explored the stunning college boathouses and enjoyed the best views of Kings College Chapel. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying beautiful scenery. The location is fantastic, just a short drive to the Suffolk coast, which was a lovely escape.
Had a bit of an issue with the dining experience, notably the long wait for our meals, which dampened the overall dinner vibe for our group.

Spa facilities offer relaxation and great treatments. Delayed check-in was inconvenient and caused some frustration.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-prepared for our child, showcasing a lovely cot on request. While the staff were friendly, the dining experience in the restaurant was quite disappointing, lacking the expected quality for a four-star establishment. The breakfast offered fresh options, including organic vegetables, which was a nice touch but didn’t fully satisfy the overall dining experience.

I enjoyed the beautiful grounds and the spacious Superior Double Room. The attention to detail in the toiletries and welcome drinks made a nice impression. Breakfast offered a generous selection, and the food quality was top-notch. Staff provided prompt service at the restaurant, but the breakfast took a bit long to arrive during busy hours. Unfortunately, I had issues with the heating. it was quite cold on arrival and took time to sort out. The hot water was inconsistent. the air conditioning was noisy at night, disrupting sleep. the stay had its high points, but some aspects needed addressing.
